# Why Husher

Four core principles that make Husher different from custodial and account-based swap platforms

Husher is designed for traders who value execution quality, privacy awareness, and self-custody. Every design decision flows from the same four principles.

These pillars are not features you opt into. They are the default state of every swap on Husher, regardless of which execution mode or interface you use.

### What this means in practice

**Non-custodial by design** means there is no Husher-controlled wallet that your funds pass through at any point. The swap execution address is owned and operated by the selected Exchange Service Provider (ESP), not by Husher. Once the output is produced, it is delivered directly to your destination wallet.

**No accounts, no KYC** means the first trade requires nothing more than a sending address and a receiving address. There is no registration flow, no identity verification, and no data collection tied to your swap.

**Optional Private Mode** uses privacy-focused routing steps to reduce the on-chain link between input and output. It is an opt-in execution path that works on top of the same non-custodial model.

**Transparent, low fees** means the fee for your swap is shown before you confirm. The total cost includes the platform fee and any network fees. There are no hidden spreads added on top of the quoted rate.
