User Responsibilities
Safe swapping depends on informed user behavior; Husher cannot protect against phishing, malware, or address errors
The non-custodial model shifts meaningful security responsibility to the user. Husher cannot protect against errors or attacks that originate on the user's side. Understanding what you are responsible for is a prerequisite for using any non-custodial platform safely.
Your responsibilities
Use a secure, non-custodial wallet you fully control. Husher delivers output to the address you provide. If that address is controlled by someone else, funds go to them.
Verify the official domain and Telegram handle. The official web app is at husher.io. The official Telegram bot is @HusherOfficialBot. Always confirm you are on the correct domain before entering any addresses.
Double-check deposit addresses and selected networks before sending. Confirm that the network shown in the UI matches the network your wallet will send from. A mismatch will result in lost funds.
Start with a small test amount to confirm behavior. For large or unfamiliar swaps, a small test transaction first is a prudent way to verify the full flow before committing a larger amount.
Never share your seed phrase, and guard your private keys. Husher never asks for your seed phrase or full wallet access. The only place private keys are ever requested is inside the official Batch & Collect Automatic Mode flow, in the web app or @HusherOfficialBot. Husher will never request keys or seed phrases by DM, email, or live chat, and any such request outside the official Automatic Mode flow is fraudulent. If you would rather never share a key, Batch & Collect Manual Mode reaches the same result without one.
What Husher cannot protect against
Husher cannot protect against phishing sites impersonating the platform, malware on your device that alters clipboard addresses, user-side errors such as wrong networks or wrong addresses, or social engineering attacks. These risks are inherent to crypto usage broadly, not specific to Husher.
