Key Ownership

Standard swaps never require private keys; Husher's default flow never asks for, stores, or interacts with them

You retain full control of your private keys at all times. Husher is designed so that key access is never necessary for a standard swap: swaps are initiated by sending funds from your wallet to a one-time address, and the output is delivered back to an address you specify. No credential handoff occurs at any step.

What Husher never does in a standard swap

  • Asks for private keys or seed phrases

  • Stores or transmits private keys in any form

  • Requires wallet connections beyond a standard destination address

  • Accesses or monitors your wallet beyond the addresses you voluntarily provide

What you retain

  • Full ownership and control of your signing keys

  • The sole ability to authorize transactions from your wallet

  • The choice of which wallet software or hardware to use

  • Complete custody of funds before sending and after delivery

For standard swaps, this design means that even if Husher's infrastructure were fully compromised, an attacker would gain no access to user private keys or funds already delivered to destination wallets.

One opt-in exception: Batch & Collect Automatic Mode
