# Execution Routing (default and optional override)

How Husher's automatic best-execution routing works and when to override it with a specific provider

By default, Husher automatically routes each swap across one or more centralized exchanges via its Exchange Service Providers (ESPs) to optimize price, liquidity, and execution speed. This routing is automatic and requires no user action.

### Default vs manual routing

Husher compares available providers and liquidity in real time, then selects the optimal execution path based on price, depth, and reliability.

* No configuration required
* Recommended for most swaps
* Husher continuously evaluates conditions at the time of each order

This is the standard setting and the best choice for the majority of users.

Advanced users may select a specific execution provider (such as Binance or KuCoin) from the provider selector in the swap interface.

* Execution is routed exclusively through the selected provider
* The manually selected provider may not always offer the best rate
* Manual selection does not change custody, confirmation requirements, or delivery guarantees

Use manual override only when you have a specific reason to prefer a particular execution venue.

Routing behavior affects where the trade executes, not how it is settled. Custody, non-custodial guarantees, confirmation requirements, and direct output delivery to your wallet are unchanged regardless of which routing mode is used.
