Private Routing (Zcash / Monero)

Optional privacy-enhanced execution paths using Zcash and Monero to reduce on-chain linkability

Optional privacy-enhanced execution paths are available for users who require additional discretion. When enabled, execution is routed through privacy-focused networks to reduce on-chain linkability and mempool exposure.

Private routing improves transactional discretion. It does not guarantee anonymity. For a full explanation of what Private Mode improves and what it does not guarantee, see the Privacy Model.

How it works

When Private Mode is selected, Husher adds an intermediate routing step through a privacy-focused network (Zcash or Monero) between the input asset and the final destination. This breaks the direct on-chain link that would otherwise connect the source and destination wallets.

The flow looks like this: your input asset is exchanged into a privacy-network asset, moved through that network's shielded or obfuscated layer, then exchanged into your chosen output asset and delivered to your destination wallet.

What it improves

  • Reduces direct on-chain traceability between source and destination wallets

  • Limits mempool-level exposure during execution

  • Adds an additional routing layer that severs the observable link between input and output

What it does not guarantee

  • It does not guarantee full anonymity or untraceability

  • On-chain analytics at the input or output layer may still be possible

  • Responsibility for broader operational security (VPN use, wallet hygiene, reuse avoidance) remains with the user

  • It does not change Husher's non-custodial guarantees or execution architecture
